One day a crow found a piece of meat. He flew to a branch of a tree to eat it. At that time, a fox was passing under the tree. He saw a crow sitting on the tree with a piece of meat in its beak. He became greedy and wanted to have the meat. An idea flashed upon his head. The sly fox started to praise the crow and asked it to sing. The clever crow kept the meat under its feet so that it did not fall and then sang a note. The crow said to the fox, “It is an old trick to befool us. Try a different one next time.” The fox became a fool and left the place disheartened.
