Processing: The Water Cycle

Write a paragraph within 100 words on the water cycle, using the following flow-chart:

[water evaporates from water bodies – rises as vapour – gets heavier – condenses, forms clouds-falls to earth as rain]

Ans. The Water Cycle

The water cycle helps to provide a continuous flow of water on the earth. At first, the rays of the sun directly fall into the water bodies that heats up the water to evaporate into the air. Then the evaporated water rises upward as vapour. High up in the sky, the vapour becomes heavier due to low temperature and after that, it gets condensed. Further condensation of the vapour forms a cloud that is actually the tiny water droplets. As they are heavier than air, finally they fall on earth as raindrops.
